The Position

n

n
- Assist in the planning and preparation of food production across functions and in house menu-based catering
n
- Minimum 3 years experience as a sous chef previously
n
- Actively maintain a high standard of food safety, allergen awareness, and OHS
n
- Contribute to the development of menu ideas using local fresh ingredients
n
- Assist in the mentoring of the kitchen team
n
- Monitor and order stock and minimize food wastage
n
- A passion for delivering fresh and flavorsome food. HACCP knowledge
n




- Ability to lead a kitchen in the head chefs absence
n

THE PERSON

n

n
- Minimum Cert. III Commercial Cookery
n
- Must be able to obtain Working with Children Check
n
- Leadership abilities and enjoys creating a positive work culture
n
- Experience with cooking healthy and nutritious food in bulk quantities
n
- Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety
n
- Experience in menu development and costing
n
