Smile Central Orthodontics is a specialist orthodontic practice in Warragul, and we are looking for a friendly, reliable and organised person to join our team in a combined Dental Assistant and Administration role.

The position is approximately 4 days per week and will involve a mix of clinical and administrative duties.

n

Initially, part of the role will provide maternity leave cover for one of our dental assistants. However, we are also looking for someone who can become a longer-term part of the practice, particularly on the administration side. For the right person, there is the chance for the position to develop into a permanent full-time role , combining both clinical and administrative work.

The role will include: n

- Chairside dental assisting in our orthodontic clinic
n
- Sterilisation and clinical preparation
n
- Reception and patient communication
n
- Appointment coordination and general administration
n




- Helping with the day-to-day running of the practice
n

We are looking for someone who: nn
- Is friendly, reliable and well organised
n
- Has good communication skills and enjoys working with patients and families
n
- Is comfortable working both clinically and administratively
n
- Has strong attention to detail
n
- Is able to work independently when required
n
- Is a positive team player and willing to help where needed
n
- Is interested in becoming a long-term member of the practice
n

Previous dental assisting experience would be highly regarded. Orthodontic experience is not essential, and training can be provided for the right person.
