Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Workshop Technician to join our team in Welshpool, WA, working primarily across our used equipment fleet.
About the Role: n
This is a hands-on, workshop-based position focused on refurbishing Adaptalift’s existing used equipment and preparing it for resale.
n
You will inspect, service and repair used equipment to ensure each machine is mechanically sound, safe, reliable and presented to a high standard before it is made available for sale.
n
No two machines will be exactly the same, making this an ideal role for a mechanically minded Technician who enjoys varied work and takes pride in restoring equipment to a high standard.
What You’ll Be Doing: n
n
- Inspecting and assessing used equipment
n
- Refurbishing existing equipment in preparation for resale
n
- Completing servicing, repairs and general mechanical work
n
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
n
- Identifying required repairs, replacement parts and maintenance
n
- Conducting safety and operational checks
n
- Cleaning and presenting equipment to a high standard
n
- Accurately recording completed work and equipment condition
n
- Working closely with the workshop, parts and sales teams
n
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised workshop
n

What You’ll Bring: nn
- A relevant Mechanical Trade Certificate
n
- Experience servicing or repairing forklifts, used equipment, mobile plant, heavy vehicles, automotive equipment or similar machinery
n
- Solid mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills
n
- Hydraulic and electrical diagnostic experience will be highly regarded
n
- Good organisation and attention to detail
n
- Current Australian driver’s licence
n
- Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment , including drug and alcohol screening
n
- Full Australian working rights
