About the Role n

We are seeking experienced Senior Cloud Architects and Cloud Engineers to support the delivery of a range of enterprise ICT initiatives within a large and complex technology environment.

n

Working as part of multidisciplinary teams, you will provide architectural leadership, cloud engineering expertise and technical guidance across the design, implementation and optimisation of cloud-based solutions. You will play a key role in developing enterprise cloud platforms, driving best practice architecture, and ensuring solutions align with government standards and organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities n

n
- Develop enterprise-level cloud platform architectures across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
n
- Design high-level and detailed cloud solution architectures.
n
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to cloud engineering teams.
n
- Conduct impact analysis of business and stakeholder requirements.
n
- Ensure solutions align with government architecture standards and best practices.
n
- Support the design, build, automation and deployment of cloud-based systems.
n
- Collaborate with business owners, architects, developers, testers and project teams to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
n
- Contribute to CI/CD, infrastructure as code, testing and platform automation initiatives.
n
- Promote modern architecture principles, reusability and user-centred design practices.
n
- Provide leadership, strategic thinking and stakeholder influence across programs and projects.

What You Will Bring nn




- Minimum five years' experience implementing and managing cloud technologies and solutions.
n
- Strong experience designing and implementing cloud-based solutions using: n n
- Azure App Services

- Azure Functions
n
- Azure Logic Apps
n
- Azure SQL
n
- Azure Service Bus
n
- Azure API Management
n

- Experience using Azure DevOps for source control, Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD deployments.

- Strong understanding of: n

- Microsoft Entra ID
n
- Azure Key Vault
n
- Azure Monitor
n
- Application Insights
n
- Azure networking and security services
n
- Virtual Networks, Private Endpoints and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
n

- Experience integrating cloud platforms with third-party systems, including Dynamics 365 environments.
n
- Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders across geographically dispersed teams.
n
- Experience delivering secure and reliable solutions within Agile multidisciplinary environments.
n

Desirable Experience nn
- Technical leadership across project and operational environments.
n
- Experience developing application, integration or infrastructure platform architectures.
n
- Experience designing and documenting architectures for large-scale enterprise environments.
n
- Exposure to AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
n

Security Requirements n

Australian Citizenship is mandatory.

Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance.
