Sylvs - Miami, Gold Coast n

Sylvs is a new modern Italian restaurant in Miami, combining great Italian food, charcoal cooking, pizza and a strong music-led atmosphere.

We're looking for an experienced and passionate Chef / Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.

n

The role will work across our pasta, charcoal grill and potentially pizza sections , depending on your experience and strengths. You don't need to have worked extensively in all three areas - we're more interested in finding someone with solid chef experience, a great attitude and a genuine passion for cooking.

About the role n

You'll be involved in:

n

Preparing and cooking fresh pasta dishes

n

Working on our charcoal grill section

n

Pizza preparation and cooking where applicable

n

Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation

n

Preparing your section for busy services

n

Working closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team

n

Maintaining excellent cleanliness, organisation and food safety standards

n

Contributing ideas and helping develop the kitchen as Sylvs grows

About you n

We're looking for someone who:

n





Has previous experience working as a chef in a busy restaurant

n

Is passionate about food and takes pride in their cooking

n

Has experience in pasta, charcoal/grill cooking or pizza - experience across all areas is not essential

n

Works well under pressure

n

Is organised and reliable

n

Enjoys working as part of a close kitchen team

n

Has a positive attitude and wants to continue developing their skills

n

Experience with Italian food, fresh pasta, wood-fired pizza, charcoal or open-fire cooking would be highly regarded.
