With proven capabilities in R&D;, product commercialisation, manufacturing and supply, the company is looking for a motivated and detail orientated person to join our team on a permanent basis, based in the Brisbane (Australia) office.

The software you build helps MRI systems image patients safely and reliably, every day. You won't be stuck in a silo either. You'll team up with seasoned engineers, MRI physicists and hardware engineers.
n
Responsible for the development of clean, maintainable, tested and productive code following software engineering best practices and industry standards.
Key elements of the role include: n
n
- Design and Development of code for core platform and peripheral systems
n
- Participates in code reviews and provides constructive feedback to peers and team
n
- Contributes to application architecture and engineering discussions.
n
- Supports CI/CD pipelines, software release processes and deployments.
n
Required Experience & Capability nn
- Has experience using application lifecycle tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Git, Bugzilla)
n
- Professional experience delivering software using .NET/C#/WPF, and/or C/C++
n
- Collaborates effectively with technical and non-technical staff, including Product Management, Quality Assurance, and other engineering teams to identify, mitigate, and manage risks, and resolve ambiguity.
n
- Develops, maintains and follows engineering documentation and change management artefacts with strong attention to detail.
n
- Has an inquisitive nature, and is not afraid to dive deep to find the root cause of problems.
n
- Continuously learning new technologies, frameworks, and development practices to improve both individual and team capability.
n
- Can quickly understand and work within complex technical domains, such as MRI.
n
- Proven problem-solving ability.
n
- Approachable personality with strong communication (written and verbal) skills – self driven, organised and proactive.
n
Of interest would be experience across the below nn
- You have experience writing software for Class II or Class III medical devices.
n
- You understand the standards, frameworks, and quality systems required to develop software in regulated industries (e.g. ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 62304, IEC 61508, EN 50128)
n
