InstaFix is seeking experienced tailors and clothing alterations specialists who take pride in their work. We're looking for people who combine speed, accuracy and a quality finish, with the skills to handle everyday alterations and express jobs confidently.

Key responsibilities
n
Complete clothing alterations, including hemming, shortening, tapering, resizing and taking garments in or letting them out.
n
Work across trousers, jeans, dresses, skirts, shirts and jackets.
n
Repair or replace zips, buttons, seams and other garment components.
n
Conduct customer fittings, take accurate measurements and pin garments correctly.
n
Operate industrial sewing machines, overlockers and pressing equipment safely and efficiently.
n
Check completed garments for fit, finish and accuracy before collection.
n
Organise jobs to meet agreed turnaround times, including express and same-day services.

About you
n
Proven hands-on experience in tailoring or clothing alterations.
n
Sound knowledge of garment construction, fabrics and alteration techniques.
n
Confidence using industrial sewing machines and overlockers.
n
The ability to work quickly and accurately without compromising workmanship.
n
Solid attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
n
A reliable, professional approach and respectful communication with customers and colleagues.
n
Previous work in a busy alterations shop or express service setting.
n
Experience fitting and altering suits, jackets, formalwear or delicate fabrics.
n
Confidence advising customers on suitable alterations.
