Chance for a Licensed Electrician to join an exciting 2 week maintenance shutdown at Garden Island in Sydney

I'm looking for 2 experienced Electricians to join a short-term maintenance project on a naval vessel at Garden Island, Sydney. This is a 2-week night shift contract, ideal for an electrician who enjoys marine and defence work and is available from 12 October. What's on offer:

- $84.50 per hour + penalties
n
- 2-week contract starting 12 October
n
- Night shift only: 5pm to 1.30am (8-hour shift)
n
- Hands-on work on a naval vessel
n

Responsibilities: nn
- Carry out maintenance on the vessel's electrical infrastructure
n
- Service and maintain switchboards and distribution boards
n
- Inspect, test, and repair power and lighting circuits
n
- Maintain and repair motors, starters,



and control panels
n
- Fault-find and rectify electrical issues
n
- Install and terminate cabling, cable tray, and associated equipment
n
- Test and tag equipment and record results
n
- Complete permits, isolations, and paperwork to site requirements
n
- Follow all defence site and vessel safety procedures
n

Licences/Experience Required: n

n
- Current NSW electrical licence (trade qualified)
n
- White Card
n
- Working at Heights
n
- Confined Space
n
- Previous marine, defence, or heavy industrial experience highly regarded
n
- Ability to obtain Garden Island base access
n
