About the Opportunity
Bursaria Early Learning Centre is a premium, state-of-the-art Early Learning Centre opening its doors in 2026 in the heart of Keilor.
As a foundation team member, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the culture and educational environment of our brand-new service. We are seeking passionate, creative, and dedicated Early Childhood Teachers (ECTs) to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and Implement Curriculum: Design and deliver creative, age-appropriate lesson plans that foster children's cognitive, emotional, and physical development. Ensure the curriculum reflects the principles of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF).
Create a Nurturing Setting:
Foster a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where each child can thrive.
Observation and Assessment: Regularly observe and assess children's progress to tailor learning activities to their individual needs, interests, and developmental stages.
Collaboration with Families: Develop positive relationships with children and their families, ensuring open communication about each child's progress, milestones, and needs.
Ensure Compliance with Regulations: Follow all regulations and standards set by the National Quality Framework (NQF) and other relevant regulatory bodies to ensure safety, compliance, and quality care.
Skills and Qualifications
An ACECQA-approved qualification: Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent, such as a Graduate Diploma).
Current VIT (Victorian Institute of Teaching) Registration as an Early Childhood Teacher (Provisional or Full).
A valid Victorian Working with Children Check (WWCC).
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis training (HLTAID012).
Solid knowledge of the EYLF and NQS.
Excellent communication skills and a "team player" attitude.
Experience: Prior experience in an early childhood setting is highly valued; demonstrated capability to lead a room and mentor team members is preferred.
