Focus on Surveying are looking for a student/graduate or experienced permanent Surveyor to join our supportive team based at our Ashgrove office.

The Applicant: n

Surveying Student looking to experience the full range of Surveying disciplines undertaken in a Surveying Consultancy and apply real life experience to compliment their tertiary studies.

n

Surveying Graduate looking for an opportunity to grow and learn by working closely with, and being mentored by experienced surveyors.

n

Registered Surveyors & Associates who want to work autonomously within a strong team who support each other and strive to achieve the best outcomes while maintaining flexibility and work life balance.

n

The successful applicant will be joining a team of fully qualified surveyors all holding various levels of registration from Registered Associates & Graduates through to Cadastral & Consulting.

n





This role is a full-time salary position, predominantly Monday to Friday, operating on a 4.5 day working week.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: n

Undertake field survey, cadastral surveys and engineering surveys

n

Drafting & QA involving cadastral survey sketches, detail survey plans, and set out reports

n

Additional responsibilities based on experience

Key Selection Criteria: n

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong work ethic, won't take life too seriously, and will have a natural alignment to our team culture and exceptional customer service, along with:

n

Registered Associate, Graduate or Surveyor with Surveyors Board of Queensland

n

Surveying Student (currently enrolled)

n

Experience working in a Queensland based Survey Consultancy

n

Solid verbal and written communication skills and the ability to develop quality relationships

n

Be curious for continuous improvement, carry out design and calculations and offers alternate solutions and concepts

n

Alignment to small business methodologies requiring flexibility and ability to handle all facets of the jobs

n

Surveyors with all levels of experience and qualifications will be consideredas we are looking for the right person to join our team for the long term.
