Retail sales (watersports/Boating Parts and Accessories) n

This customer-facing position is suited to someone with excellent communication skills, professional presentation and the ability to learn a wide range of products and accessories based around Boating / Marine lifestyle.

n

Key responsibilities

n

All typical Retail responsibilities around shop display and presentation.

n

handling Customer inquiries both face to face and email/online.

n

Preparing accurate quotations and processing sales, payments and orders

n

Following up enquiries, quotations, backorders and customer commitments

n

Receiving, checking, labelling and storing incoming stock

n

Maintaining accurate inventory, pricing and product information

n

Liaising with suppliers and internal departments

n

Managing warranties, returns and exchanges in accordance with company procedures

n

Identifying and recommending the correct parts, accessories and complementary products

n

About you

n

Have accessories or specialty retail sales experience is highly preferred.

n

Provide friendly, qualified and solutions-focused customer service

n

Have exceptional attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy

n

Confidently ask questions and listen before recommending a solution

n

Be able to interpret catalogues,



diagrams and computer-based parts systems

n

Be organized and follow enquiries and commitments through to completion

n

Work well within a team and take personal responsibility for results

n

Remain calm and professional when managing competing priorities

n

Have an interest in any of the following: boating, Watersports, marine products, engines or outdoor leisure products
