Senior Contracts Administrator - Apartments n

An exceptional opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join an established, well-funded international building and development group delivering a landmark residential tower on the Southern Gold Coast.

n

This is not a role where you walk into an established commercial team and inherit someone else’s systems. You’ll build it.
n The developer is taking its first residential tower to site, with construction commencing shortly, and is looking for a Senior CA who can take ownership of the commercial function from the ground up.

n

The project is an 18-level residential tower on a prominent corner site, with an anticipated construction period of approximately 2 years.
n There is a second project already funded behind it.
n The plan is for the successful Senior CA to progress into a ProjectManager role on the next project.

You will have genuine ownership of the commercial and contract administration function, including:

n

- Establishing contract administration systems and processes from the ground up
n
- Building and managing Procore and Jobpac
n
- Head contract and subcontract administration
n
- Procurement and letting of trade packages
n
- Variations, claims and progress claims
n
- Cost control, forecasting and financial reporting
n
- Monthly reporting directly to the BoardWorking closely with senior management, consultants and offshore stakeholders
n




- Building the commercial team as the project progresses
n

Accuracy and commercial discipline are critical. You will own the reporting process end-to-end and have direct exposure to senior leadership and the Board who are based overseas.

WHAT YOU NEED

- Recent experience delivering large-scale residential towers
n
- Strong hands-on contract administration experience
n
- Solid understanding of procurement, variations, claims and commercial reporting
n
- The ability to establish systems rather than simply inherit them
n
- Strong attention to detail and financial accuracy
n
- Confidence dealing with senior leadership and offshore stakeholders
n
- A genuine desire to progress into a ProjectManager position
n
