- An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Program Investment Cost Modelling Analyst an initial 6-month contract. This is a part-time role, initially 3 days per week , supporting a significant regulatory program across ICT and Operational Technology portfolio.

nMUST HAVE : n
n
Working across multiple Program Briefs, you will develop and maintain an overarching cost model, assess investment options and provide robust cost, benefit and Net Present Value (NPV) analysis .

nKey Responsibilities n
n
n
n
- Build and maintain an overarching financial and cost model across ICT and Operational Technology Program Briefs.
n
n
- Cost up to three investment options for individual Program Briefs.
n
n
- Undertake detailed cost-benefit and NPV analysis .
n
n
- Identify and quantify tangible and non-tangible advantages .
n
n
- Establish modelling assumptions covering discount rates, indexation and assessment periods .
n
n
- Consolidate and reconcile historical actuals, current expenditure and future forecasts across FY20-34 .
n
n
- Develop clear, structured and auditable financial models.
n
n
n
nAbout You n
n
n
n
- Extensive hands-on experience developing and quality-assuring complex financial or investment cost models .
n
n
- Robust experience with cost-benefit analysis and NPV modelling .
n
n
- Proven experience preparing investment costings and benefits analysis for business cases, major programs or regulatory submissions .
n
n
- Advanced Excel skills , with experience developing robust, transparent and auditable models.
n
n
- Strong knowledge of discount rates, indexation, assessment periods and financial modelling assumptions .
n
n
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to reconcile large and complex financial datasets.
n
n
- A tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, Engineering or a related discipline .
n
n
n
n
Experience within utilities, energy, regulated networks, infrastructure or major capital programs will be highly regarded.
