- $29.65 per hour base rate (Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 6:00pm)

Additional information nn
- These positions are temporary part‑time roles, offering 40 hours per fortnight.
n
- The temporary contracts are scheduled to conclude in January 2027.
n
- As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts.
n
- You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).
n
Recruitment process nn
- Shortlisted candidates will complete a video interview.
n
- To be considered for this role you will be required to attend a group interview on the 13th of October.
n
- If you are successful for this role, you will be required to attend a 2-day Welcome induction.

About this work area n
As an IKEA Food Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Commercial n
n
- Ensuring your area is efficiently maintained in compliance with Food standards by keeping it clean, organised, attractive and inviting to provide a positive customer experience.
n
- Food preparation and customer service with a focus on food safety, controlling waste, and following production levels.
n
- Clearing tables, wiping down benchtops and stocktake.
n
- Active selling, cash handling and customer service.
n
Operations nn
- Ensuring your area is efficiently maintained in compliance with Food standards by keeping it clean, organised, attractive and inviting to provide a positive customer experience.
n
- Food preparation, cooking, serving and customer service with a focus on food safety, controlling waste, and following production levels and cooking methods.
n
- Processing dishes and maintaining the washing up area and machines whilst supporting and maintaining the cleanliness of the customer restaurant.
n
- Active selling, cash handling, operation of ovens & fryers.
n
As an IKEA Food Co-worker you are/have: nn
- Passionate, committed, and have a love for food in its quality and presentation.
n
- Experienced with working in a fast paced, hands‑on environment. Previous hospitality and cookery experience is highly regarded.
n
- Enthusiastic about working within a team of like‑minded people.
n
- Able to follow strict IKEA Food and HACCP policies and daily operational routines around quality and food safety, including temperature and date checks.
n
- Demonstrates a willingness to work across all areas of the Food department to support operational and business needs.
