We are a 100% Australian-owned and operated catering and facilities provider, and we are looking for a passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations at our contract site in Ensham ,QLD At Cater Care, we take pride in creating a "home away from home" for thousands of remote workers, and we need your culinary expertise to make it happen.

The Role n

As our Head Chef, you won't just be cooking—you will be the driving force behind the site's culinary success and morale. Your responsibilities will include:

Team Leadership: Mentoring, motivating, and managing a diverse kitchen crew to deliver exceptional food services.

n

Culinary Excellence: Overseeing high-volume food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistent quality and comfort.

n

Operational Control: Managing kitchen budgets, stock control, and ordering with autonomy.

n

Safety & Compliance: Championing strict food safety,



hygiene, and OH&S; standards to foster a collaborative and safe environment.

About You n

Qualified & Experienced: You are a Trade Qualified Chef with proven experience as a Head Chef (or you are a superstar Sous Chef ready to take the reins).

n

Industry Knowledge: Experience in remote, FIFO/DIDO ,bulk catering, or large-scale hospitality operations is highly regarded.

n

Natural Leader: You have strong people skills and know how to build and maintain a positive team culture.

n

Organized: You possess excellent time management skills and an unwavering commitment to quality and safety.
