Whelan Lawyers is seeking a Commercial Lawyer with 4–5 years’ post admission experience to join our growing Melbourne based team.

n

This is a primarily remote role offering genuine flexibility, autonomy and direct client relationships , without the traditional office environment or six minute time recording.

The role n

You’ll manage a varied commercial practice, working directly with clients across:

- Commercial contracts and agreements
n
- Business sales and acquisitions
n
- Corporate advisory
n
- Employment matters
n
- Commercial and retail leasing
n
- Franchising
n
- Disputes and litigation
n

n

You’ll have the opportunity to run your own matters, advise clients directly and take ownership of your work.

About you n

n
- Has 4–5 years PAE
n
- Has strong commercial law experience
n
- Is confident working autonomously
n
- Has excellent drafting and negotiation skills
n
- Provides practical, commercially focused advice
n
- Communicates confidently with clients
n
- Is organised, proactive and detail oriented
n
- Enjoys using technology to work smarter
n
