The role will mostly consist of removing non-friable and friable asbestos from various areas of residential homes and commercial buildings, but may also include general labouring duties such as demolition, jackhammering, using power tools and site clean-up.
On the job training will be provided for the right candidate, however the following criteria will be looked upon favorably: n
n
- Previousexperience in asbestos removal industry.
n
- Remove bonded or friable asbestos ticket.
n
- White card and asbestos & silica awareness training.
n
- Confident using a variety of hand & power tools and being able to look after tools.
n
- Focused and have solid communication skills and be able to use own initiative.
n
- Work in a team environment.
n
- Be physically fit.
n
- Current licence and own transport
n
- LR, MR or HR truck licence looked upon very favorably
n
n
The role will start as casual with the potential to switch to full time for the right candidate.
