About the Role n

This is not your everyday hospitality job, it's live events, high volume, and real leadership.

n

As our Assistant Food & Beverage Manager , you'll drive outstanding service across bars, retail outlets and café operations (including barista service), working shoulder‑to‑shoulder with the Venue Manager and Head Chef to deliver seamless event days.

You Will: n

Lead event operations across Nissan Arena & QSAC from bump‑in, to pack‑down.

n

Coach and inspire 10–20+ staff to deliver rapid, consistent, high‑quality service.

n

Oversee coffee service , bar operations and multiple retail outlets with speed and accuracy.

n

Maintain top‑tier customer service and uphold ACS's commitment to excellence.

n

Ensure compliance: food safety, RSA, cash handling, reporting and venue standards.

n

Collaborate on menu improvements,



efficiency upgrades and service innovations.

About You n

1–2+ years' experience in events, hospitality or F&B; leadership .

n

Management position experience required to effectively oversee operations and lead teams.

n

Minimum 1 year of Food & Beverage management experience is essential.

n

Confident leading large casual teams and thriving in high‑pressure service.

n

Barista skills essential, you know your way around a coffee machine.

n

Minimum 1 year of barista experience operating commercial coffee equipment is required.

n

RSA (QLD), Food Safety/Handlers Certificate, driver's licence.

n

Current QLD RSA certification must be obtained within 30 days of commencement.

n

Flexibility for nights, weekends and event schedules.
