The Role

As a Senior Accountant, you will be a key member of our team, taking ownership of a diverse client portfolio whilst providing guidance, support, and oversight to our junior accountants. Working closely with the firm's principals,



you will play an integral role in upholding the quality and consistency of our work and reviewing the output of junior team members.

In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will serve as a trusted point of contact for clients, building strong, long-term relationships and delivering both compliance and advisory services with confidence and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation and review of financial statements and income tax returns for a range of entity types, including individuals, partnerships companies, trusts, estates and self managed superannuation funds.

Maintaining regular client contact and serving as a trusted senior point of contact for a portfolio of valued clients.

Leading tax planning and business advisory conversations including attendance at and facilitation of quarterly client management meetings.

Mentoring, coaching and reviewing junior accountants

Collaborating with the leadership team on workflow management to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of client engagements.

About you:

A minimum of 4 years experience in an Australian public practice accounting firm

Proficiency in accounting software and the Microsoft Office suite

Professionally presented, with solid communication and interpersonal skills

Must be based within a 30km radius of the Mornington Peninsula

Must possess an Australian drivers licence

Australian permanent residency is required
