Initial contract until 30 April 2027 + Possible extension

We're partnering with a Queensland Government department undertaking significant SAP-focused transformation initiatives that support critical business and operational functions.

n

This is an opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, enterprise-scale SAP programs, working closely with senior stakeholders, delivery teams and strategic vendors to drive successful outcomes.

n

You’ll play a key leadership role in shaping delivery direction, managing project risk and governance, and ensuring SAP investments deliver measurable business value across a large and complex environment.

What you'll be doing n

- Lead enterprise-scale SAP project delivery
n
- Drive project outcomes from initiation to closure
n
- Manage scope, budgets and delivery schedules
n
- Build executive stakeholder confidence
n
- Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams
n
- Establish effective governance frameworks
n
- Manage vendor and partner relationships
n
- Identify and mitigate project risks
n
- Ensure compliance with government standards
n
- Deliver executive reporting and briefings
n
- Drive organisational change and adoption
n
- Align technology outcomes with strategy
n
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives
n
- Resolve complex delivery challenges
n
- Promote accountability and delivery excellence
n

What you need to bring nn
- Extensive SAP project management experience
n
- Proven delivery of large-scale programs
n




- SAP implementation or upgrade experience
n
- Solid SAP ecosystem knowledge
n
- Experience managing complex stakeholders
n
- Executive-level communication skills
n
- Strong vendor management capability
n
- Expertise in project governance
n
- Risk and issue management experience
n
- Budget and financial management skills
n
- Knowledge of Agile, PRINCE2 or PMBOK
n
- Ability to lead diverse delivery teams
n
- Experience operating in regulated environments
n
- Strong strategic planning capability
n
- Demonstrated delivery of business outcomes
n

- SAP S/4HANA delivery experience
n
- PMP certification
n
- PRINCE2 Practitioner certification
n
- SAP Activate certification
n
- Government or public sector experience
n
