Senior Manager, Tax & Business Advisory
n A well-regarded Canberra firm is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead a Tax & Business Advisory team. This is a genuine leadership position, with responsibility for a team of five across onshore and offshore resources and a diverse client portfolio.

The role n

n
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of five, including offshore team members, setting transparent expectations for quality and review standards
n
- Manage a portfolio spanning individual clients and commercial businesses, from complex personal tax matters to restructures and advisory engagements
n
- Oversee the offshore delivery model, ensuring clear briefing, effective review processes and consistent output
n
- Act as a senior point of contact for clients, providing proactive, commercially minded advice
n
- Manage workflow, deadlines and quality across the team, including peak-period planning
n
- Work closely with the partners on pricing,



business development and client growth
n

About you nn
- CA or CPA qualified, with a tax focus
n
- 7+ years' experience in related field
n
- Strong technical knowledge of individual tax, along with commercial exposure to companies, trusts, partnerships, CGT and Division 7A
n
- Demonstrated people leadership experience, including performance management and capability development
n
- Experience working with offshore resources, or a strong interest in developing this capability
n
- Excellent communication skills and a confident, client-focused approach
n
