About the Role n

BASF is seeking aWarehouse Operator , he will be responsible for the safe, accurate and efficient receipt, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of stock and materials. The role requires a reliable and self‑motivated individual who can work independently while contributing positively to the wider team.

Key Responsibilities n

n
- Receive, check and store incoming goods accurately and efficiently.
n
- Pick and pack customer and internal orders with a high level of accuracy.
n
- Prepare orders for dispatch and ensure all documentation is completed correctly.
n
- Operate forklifts, including high-reach and side-reach equipment, safely and efficiently.
n
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stocktakes as required.
n
- Use computer systems and inventory management software to process and record warehouse activities.
n
- Learn and confidently use new computer, inventory and warehouse management systems as required.
n
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.
n
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and company policies.
n
- Identify and report stock discrepancies, damaged goods or warehouse issues.
n
- Work collaboratively with the team while also being capable of working autonomously.
n
- Complete allocated tasks efficiently and within required timeframes without constant supervision.
n
- Current Australian Forklift Licence, with experience operating high-reach and side-reach forklifts .
n
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar logistics environment.
n




- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when picking, packing and recording stock.
n
- Basic to intermediate computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office .
n
- Experience using inventory management or warehouse management systems.
n
- Willingness and ability to learn and adapt to recent computer and inventory management systems.
n
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
n
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
n
- Reliable, punctual and consistent work ethic.
n
- Professional presentation and a positive attitude.
n
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
n

Warehouse Operator Essential Requirements nn
- Current Australian Forklift Licence, with experience operating high-reach and side-reach forklifts .
n
