Enshaw Electrical Services is looking for a qualified electrician to join our team in a CHPP Operations / Electrical Technician role in the Gunnedah region.
n
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for more variety . You'll work across both CHPP operations and electrical maintenance, gaining experience across the entire plant while continuing to develop your trade.
The Role n
You'll be involved in:
n
n
- n
Operating and monitoring CHPP plant and equipment.
n
- n
Train loading and stockpile management.
n
- n
Coal movements and production activities.
n
- n
Plant inspections and responding to operational issues.
n
- n
Electrical breakdowns and fault finding.
n
- n
Preventative electrical maintenance.
n
- n
Motors, conveyors, pumps and control systems.
n
- n
Electrical and group isolations.
n
- n
Shutdowns and plant improvement works.
n
n
Previous CHPP experience is great, but isn't essential for the right electrician with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

What You'll Need nn
- n
Current NSW Electrical Licence.
n
- n
Current driver's licence.
n
- n
Unrestricted Australian working rights.
n
- n
Good safety attitude and willingness to learn.
n
- n
Ability to work day and night shifts.
n
- n
Ability to work across both operations and electrical maintenance.
n
- n
Ability to complete a Coal Services Order 43 medical, drug & alcohol screening and site onboarding requirements.
n
n
Mining, CHPP, fixed-plant or heavy-industrial experience will be highly regarded but isn't essential.
