Job Description

This is a remote contract role for a Bookkeeper. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for our parent company in Australia. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for tasks such as bookkeeping, reconciling accounts, preparation of BAS and maintaining financial statements.

Requirements n

- Bookkeeping and Accounting skills
n
- Experience with Accounting Software such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks
n
- Journal Entries (Accounting) skills
n
- Knowledge of Financial Statements
n
- Ability to work independently and remotely
n
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial record keeping
n
- Strong ethics regarding data privacy of sensitive data
n
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
n
- Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
n
- Professional certification such as CPA or CA is a plus
n
- Industry experience or robust knowledge of Australian tax rules and regulations would be highly advantageous
