About the Opportunity n
Genus is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team and support delivery of the Waddi Wind Farm Project.
n This major renewable energy project requires a strong leader with proven electrical construction experience, the ability to manage subcontractors and site teams, and a commitment to safety, quality, and project delivery.
n The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for providing daily direction, instruction, and guidance to site personnel to achieve project objectives safely and efficiently.
n Your day-to-day activities will include:

- Supervising electrical subcontractors and field teams during construction activities.
n
- Overseeing power transformer installations, GIS installations, and HV/LV electrical testing works.
n
- Monitoring and reporting construction progress while supporting quality inspections and commissioning activities.
n
- Reviewing and approving subcontractor documentation, SWMS, and work instructions to ensure compliance and project standards are achieved.
n

Essential Skills / Qualifications / Experience n
n
- Electrical trade qualification with a current WA Electrical Licence
n
- Demonstrated experience working on high-voltage (132kV–330kV) transmission or substation projects
n
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within infrastructure, utilities, or renewable energy projects
n
- Robust understanding of HV installation, testing, and commissioning practices
n
- Ability to lead and motivate site teams in a fast-paced construction environment
n
- Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements
n
- Current Driver’s Licence
n
- Construction Induction (White Card)
n
Desirable nn
- Experience working on wind farm or renewable energy projects
n
- Previous exposure to Western Power standards and procedures
n
- Experience with commissioning and energisation of HV assets
n
