Epworth HealthCare (Epworth) seeks Acute General Registered Nurses and Critical Care to join our high performing and highly valued Central Resource Unit (CRU) on a permanent part time basis.

Positions are available across 3 locations of the Epworth Health group.
Central n
n
- Freemasons (East Melbourne)
n
Eastern Suburbs n
n
- Eastern (Box Hill)
n
- Hawthorn
n
Geelong n
n
- Epworth Geelong
n
n
Staff recruited into the permanent pool team are based in either Central, Eastern Suburbs or Geelong but are not limited to just one location.
n
Importantly, you can choose your primary location, and you can choose if you want to pick up shifts in other locations too.
What will this model look like? n
n
- Each staff member can select their primary hospitals where they want to pick up shifts
n
- Staff can choose to pick up additional shifts in other Epworth Locations
n
- CCRN will have an expected requirement of working between Richmond & Eastern
n
- Supernumerary and education are provided to staff to ensure they are set up for success
n
- Access to a mobile app to pick up shifts at ease across the group
n
- Experience variety of work by having the ability to work or transition across different specialities and areas
n

To be successful in this role, you will… n
n
- Have a minimum 3 Years of relevant nursing experience
n
- Have a contemporary knowledge of best practice in surgical/medical nursing care and/or midwifery, and the patient journey.
n
- Have Permanent residency, Australian citizenship or working rights
n
- Have recency of practise across both Medical and Surgical nursing (if wanting to join as a general acute nurse)
n
- Have excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
n
- Be adaptable to different teams and working environments
n
- Be teachable and have a willingness to learn and grow professionally
n
- Enjoy the challenge of working flexibly within a team environment.
n
- Possess a robust understanding and background of patient-centred care
n
- Have well-developed time management and prioritisation skills
n
- A current Registered Nurse AHPRA registration
n
- Critical Care Post Graduate qualification (If wanting to join as a pure CCRN)
n
- Perioperative Post Graduate certificate is desirable but not essential (for Operating Room staff)
n
- Possess a current Working with Children Check (Employee)
n
