This Retail Traineeship at Twin Rivers Food Outlet is an exciting opportunity for a reliable and motivated individual to kick-start their career in the retail industry while gaining valuable, hands-on experience in a busy grocery store environment.

n

This is a full-time, one-year traineeship that combines practical workplace experience with the completion of a nationally recognised Certificate III in Retail .

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES: n

n
- Providing exceptional customer service and assistance to customers
n
- Assisting key leaders with tasks and supporting the training of other employees
n
- Performing duties across various areas, including the warehouse, shop floor, freezers, cold room, and administration, as required
n
- Stock receiving, control and replenishment
n
- Merchandising and maintaining store presentation
n
- Cash register and point-of-sale operations
n
- Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming store environment
n
- Working as part of a team to support the day-to-day operations of the Food Outlet
n
- Complete the theory component of your certificate for your traineeship within work hours in a timely manner
n
- Actively participating in training sessions and team meetings
n

ABOUT YOU: nn
- Previous experience in retail or warehouse environments is an advantage, but not essential.
n
- Relevant qualifications or experience in forklift operation,



HR truck driving, WHS, retail, warehousing or first aid will be highly regarded.
n
- A proactive attitude and genuine commitment to learning and developing new skills
n
- The ability to multi-task, problem-solve and adapt in a busy setting.
n
- A strong customer service focus and the ability to communicate respectfully with customers and team members.
n
- A commitment to lead by example, work cooperatively and contribute positively to a team environment.
n
- Ability to work within Christian values and ability to support the Vision & Mission Statement of Twin Rivers Centre
