Our Federal Government client is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support the delivery of key data and analytics initiatives. The successful candidate will provide analytical expertise to support the business-as-usual reporting and analytics activities, and to uplift the company's cloud-based analytics capability.

nKey duties and responsibilities n
n

- Undertake data extraction, integration, transformation, analysis and reporting activities to support operational and strategic priorities.
n
n
- Support the delivery of the Hazard Insurance Partnership and associated analytical work programs.
n
n
- Develop and maintain analytical products, dashboards, datasets and reporting solutions.
n
n
- Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, insights and opportunities to support evidence-based decision-making.
n
n
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver analytical outcomes.
n
n




- Support the transition of analytical workloads and reporting capabilities to cloud-based platforms, including Microsoft Fabric.
n
n
- Contribute to data governance, data quality and documentation activities.
n
n
- Provide mentoring and knowledge transfer to agency staff to build internal analytics capability.
n
n
- Prepare briefing material, reports, presentations and other analytical products for business stakeholders and executives.
n
n
