Senior Acquisitions Manager

Sydney | Full-time | Office-based, five days per week

The opportunity n

Landmark Group is looking for an experienced property professional to originate and secure residential development opportunities across Sydney.

n

You’ll take opportunities from initial identification through assessment, negotiation, due diligence and agreement.

n

We operate with a high degree of autonomy, and this role will play a central part in sourcing and acquiring some of Sydney’s largest residential development sites.

n

What you’ll own n

You’ll take day-to-day responsibility for:

n

n
- Originating on-market and off-market residential development opportunities
n
- Building relationships with agents, landowners, consultants and industry stakeholders
n
- Assessing site potential, planning controls, market conditions and commercial viability
n
- Preparing acquisition recommendations for the Head of Acquisitions and executive team
n
- Negotiating with landowners, agents and their advisers
n
- Coordinating feasibility analysis, due diligence and external consultants
n




- Structuring transactions including direct purchases, options and conditional agreements
n
- Progressing opportunities through heads of agreement, documentation and exchange
n
- Maintaining an active acquisition pipeline and reporting on key milestones
n

What we’re looking for n

We’re looking for someone who has personally originated and progressed significant property opportunities.

n

This role suits a commercially minded dealmaker with:

n

n
- Significant experience in acquisitions, development-site sales, capital markets or commercial property
n
- A strong record of originating and progressing property transactions
n
- Established relationships across Sydney’s property market
n
- Strong knowledge of residential development and site feasibility
n
- Experience negotiating complex transactions and acquisition structures
n
- The confidence to engage directly with landowners and senior stakeholders
n
- Sound commercial judgement and the ability to recognise genuine opportunities
n
- The persistence to maintain momentum across long and complex transactions
n

Nice to have nn
- Experience with a major commercial agency or established property developer
n
- A relevant qualification in property, finance, business or economics
n
- A current NSW real estate licence
n
- Experience across apartment or mixed-use development sites
n
- Exposure to planning, valuation or development feasibility
n
