About The Role
n
Are you a passionate and driven sales professional who thrives on turning opportunities into success and creating standout client experiences? We’re looking for a proactive and strategic Sales Project Consultant to join our high-performing team at our vibrant Rhodes office, with regular travel as part of the role.
n
This is a sales-focused Project Consultant role within our Steel & Precast division, working in the industrial construction sector. You’ll represent Akura’s engineered Steel and Precast Packages, which cover structural design, in-house manufacture of structural steel and precast concrete panels, and on-site installation.
n
Reporting directly to the Team Lead, you’ll consult with clients the Akura Way to drive successful project outcomes. Working closely with builders, developers, engineers and other key stakeholders,
you’ll play a pivotal role in growing the business within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
n
As a Sales Project Consultant, you’ll develop and deliver a strategic business plan informed by market research to expand Akura’s Steel & Precast opportunities. You’ll proactively identify, pursue and convert prospects in target markets to achieve sales and revenue targets.
n
Partnering with the Marketing team, you’ll help shape compelling collateral and lead-generation initiatives to expand market reach. You’ll also collaborate with Estimators and Consultants to produce accurate, competitive proposals, and ensure a smooth handover of awarded projects to construction teams for successful execution.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Drive sales performance by applying Akura’s Consultative Selling and Sales Process principles.
n
- Liaise with the Business Development Manager to convert new business opportunities while maintaining strong client relationships.
n
- Proactively manage various external relationships to maintain Akura’s high standard of client satisfaction
n
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop collateral and generate leads.
n
- Manage projects and customer interactions in HubSpot with accurate, timely updates.
n
- Coordinate and participate in client meetings, tender/BID management, and project handovers.
n
- Forecast a pipeline of projects to align with overall company goals.
n
- Provide market insights to the Marketing and Sales teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
n
- Work closely with estimators to support accurate proposals and assess tender documentation for risks and scope.
n
- Ensure a smooth handover of successful deals to the project Delivery team.
n
- Uphold professional standards, communicate effectively, and maintain positive internal and external relationships.
n

About You
n
You bring a robust drive to convert business opportunities and unlock new possibilities. We are looking for a commercially minded professional from a construction sales background who excels at building strong relationships and guiding clients through the project journey. The ideal candidate is confident, proactive, and focused on delivering value through a consultative, client‑centric approach. We also welcome any of the following experience to apply: Development Manager, Project Manager, Client‑Side Project Manager. You can demonstrate:

- Experience within commercial/industrial real estate/property or construction industry is essential

- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and close

- A strategic mindset to direct the business into new markets and products

- A team player with a can‑do attitude and high level of initiative and drive
