Our client is a well-established and market leading civil contractor, they are looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Project Manager - Demolition to join their growing business.
n
Our client provides their services across a number of industry sectors such as building, government, industrial, transport infrastructure, environmental etc. and you will be responsible for contributing to the successful delivery of challenging projects.
n
Types of projects are predominantly demolition with typical values from $1m to $20m+ and you will typically be running one large project or 2 to 3 smaller ones. Previous experience of delivering a $20m+ demolition as a no.1 is ideal.
n
Must have previous demolition experience. It will be a Project Manager delivery role, no need to have estimating experience. Will be working between head office and site visits.

Qualifications and Requirements nn
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar
n
- 5 – 15+ years’ management experience on demolition and civil construction projects with a project value of $1m to $20m+
n
- Project management qualifications will be advantageous
n
- Proven understanding of construction with a hands-on approach
n
- Proven ability to effectively lead and delegate
n
- Effective problem solving abilities
n
- Ability to resolve conflict and manage client expectations
n
- High level of organisation and time management skills
n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
n
