The business combines energy market expertise, quantitative analysis and technology to optimise a growing portfolio of assets.

An prospect for an Energy Market Analyst to join a high-performing Energy Management team, focused on real-time market operations.

The Role: n

n
- Monitor and optimise trading strategies across the NEM and WEM
n
- Analyse market conditions, constraints and competitor behaviour
n
- Develop and test new trading and optimisation strategies
n
- Work with quantitative and software teams to improve trading algorithms
n
- Analyse large datasets using Python, SQL and visualisation tools
n
- Support the development of trading,



forecasting and risk-management systems
n

About You: n

n
- Background in energy trading analysis, market analysis or quantitative modelling
n
- Strong understanding of the NEM and AEMO dispatch
n
- Python and/or SQL experience
n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
n
- Degree in engineering, mathematics, science or similar
n
- Work across both NEM and WEM markets
n
- Strong pathway into quantitative and algorithm development
n
- Work alongside experienced operations, quantitative and technology professionals
n
