Job Description

Gamuda Australia is seeking an experienced Sustainability Advisor to join the team delivering the Parramatta Integrated Station Development (ISD).

n

This is an opportunity to play a key role in a major design-and-construct project, working across design, procurement and construction to drive sustainability outcomes and support the project's Green Star objectives.

n

You will work closely with design consultants, engineers, construction teams, subcontractors and project leadership to ensure sustainability requirements are effectively embedded throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities n

Support the development and implementation of the project's sustainability strategy and objectives.

n

Coordinate sustainability requirements across design, procurement and construction activities.

n

Support Green Star certification, including credit coordination, evidence collection and reporting.

n

Review design documentation and identify sustainability opportunities and risks.

n

Provide sustainability input into procurement, materials and subcontractor engagement.

n

Monitor project sustainability performance through construction, including site inspections and audits.

n

Support initiatives covering energy, water, waste, materials, embodied carbon and responsible sourcing.

n

Maintain sustainability registers, documentation, reporting and project KPIs.

n





Work collaboratively with environmental, engineering, design and construction teams to deliver practical sustainability outcomes.

n

Provide sustainability advice and recommendations to project leadership.

About You You will ideally have: n

Tertiary qualifications in Sustainability, Environmental Management, Engineering, Building, Construction or a related discipline.

n

Demonstrated sustainability experience within construction, infrastructure, property or engineering.

n

Strong knowledge of Green Star rating tools and certification processes.

n

Experience working across the design and construction lifecycle, preferably within a design-and-construct workplace.

n

Knowledge of sustainable building practices, energy and water efficiency, waste, materials and embodied carbon.

n

Strong communication, stakeholder management and documentation skills.

n

A practical, solutions-focused approach with the ability to influence project teams.

n

Green Star Accredited Professional (GSAP) status and experience on major commercial, infrastructure or integrated developments will be highly regarded.
