Title: Disability Support Worker Occupation: Aged or Disabled Carer – ANZSCO Employment Type: Full time Position only Employer: Dior Chantelle Pty Ltd Trading As: Rewilding Minds Location: WA, QLD, VIC, NSW Salary: $79,500 per annum + superannuation About the Role Rewilding Minds is seeking a full-time Support Worker to provide in-home and community-based support to people diagnosed with Brain Cancer.

Duties and Responsibilities n

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:

n

n
- Assisting with domestic tasks and chores such as shopping, menu planning, cooking, washing, toileting and cleaning
n
- Helping with outings, social activities and other daily routines
n
- Providing companionship and support to assist clients to develop their existing skills, abilities and confidence
n
- Accompanying disabled persons during daily activities
n
- Assisting clients with their mobility
n
- Preparing food for clients
n
- Performing housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming and cleaning
n




- Assisting in personal hygiene and dressing
n
- May do shopping and run errands
n

Skills, Experience and Qualifications nn
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role
n
- Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33015) or a Certificate IV in Disability (CHC43115) or a Bachelor of Social
n

Work nn
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
n
- Ability to work independently in a community-based setting
n

Visa Information n

Nomination for a temporary work visa and/or permanent residency may be considered for eligible candidates, subject to meeting all legislative requirements.
