The Opportunity:

As a Family Paralegal, you will provide high-level support across a range of family law matters, working closely with the legal team and assisting with the day-to-day management of files.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting solicitors with a diverse range of Family Law matters
n
- Managing and maintaining files from commencement through to resolution
n
n

The Chance:
n
As a Family Paralegal, you will provide high-level support across a range of family law matters, working closely with the legal team and assisting with the day-to-day management of files.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Assisting solicitors with a diverse range of Family Law matters
n
- Managing and maintaining files from commencement through to resolution
n
- Preparing correspondence, court documents and legal documentation
n
- Conducting legal research and assisting with case preparation
n
- Liaising with clients, courts and other relevant parties
n
- Assisting with court and mediation preparation
n
- Preparing briefs, chronologies, affidavits and other supporting documentation
n
- Managing deadlines and ensuring matters progress efficiently
n
- Providing general administrative and paralegal support to the Family Law team
n

About You :
n
We are looking for someone who is passionate about Family Law and enjoys being part of a close-knit team.
n You will ideally have:
n
n
- Previous experience as a Family Law Paralegal
n
- Strong knowledge of Family Law processes and terminology
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
n
- The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
n
- Confidence communicating with clients and legal professionals
n
- A proactive and positive approach to your work
n
- The ability to work autonomously while also being a strong team player
n
n
Please note: The successful candidate will initially be required to work 5 days in the office while they complete training and settle into the team. Once established in the role, hybrid flexibility will be available.
n
