We're on the hunt for a hands-on, mechanically minded Service Technician who thrives on solving problems, working independently, and getting things back up and running.

n

If you've worked on automatic doors, garage doors, roller shutters, industrial doors, access control systems, gate automation, or similar equipment, you'll fit right in.

n

Every day is different. One day you'll be troubleshooting a gate motor, the next you'll be onsite diagnosing a control system fault or upgrading automation equipment. If you enjoy technical challenges and hate being stuck behind a desk, keep reading.

What You'll Be Doing n

You'll be the go-to expert for keeping our customers' gate systems operating safely and reliably.

n

Your day-to-day will include:

n

n
- Diagnosing faults on automated and manual sliding gates
n
- Repairing motors, gearboxes, rollers, tracks, sensors, control boards and safety devices
n
- Conducting preventative maintenance and safety inspections
n
- Troubleshooting low-voltage electrical and access control systems
n
- Installing new automation components and gate systems
n
- Carrying out mechanical repairs and adjustments
n
- Building great relationships with customers on-site
n
- Completing service reports and maintaining a well-organised work vehicle
n
- Working safely and professionally at all times
n

Who We're Looking For n





You don't need to know everything about sliding gates. If you've got robust mechanical aptitude and experience working on automated equipment, we want to hear from you.

n

Experience in any of the following is highly regarded:

- Automated gates
n
- Garage doors
n
- Automatic doors
n
- Roller shutters
n
- Industrial doors
n
- Access control systems
n
- Mechanical maintenance
n
- Field service work
n
- Electromechanical equipment
n

n

You'll also bring:

n

n
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
n
- Mechanical and basic electrical knowledge
n
- Experience reading wiring diagrams and technical manuals
n
- Confidence using hand and power tools
n
- A proactive customer-focused attitude
n
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
n
- White Card (advantageous)
n
- Trade qualification, welding or fabrication experience (a bonus, not essential)
