The Opportunity n

As a Lifeguard and Customer Service Officer, you’ll supervise all patrons in the pool to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment. You’ll be responsible for providing a high level of quality service at reception and over the telephone. You’ll also be part of various daily activities involved in the day-to-day customer service operations. This is a casual position, with varied, seasonal hours during the Orbost Outdoor Pool’s opening season. For the 2026/27 season the pool will be open from 31 October 2026 - 8 March 2027.

- Deliver friendly, helpful customer service and handle conflicts with patrons in a calm and respectful way.
n
- Maintain a neat and skilled appearance while on duty.
n
- Understanding and use of point-of-sale systems with knowledge of club membership processes.
n




- Work well as part of a team, follow policies and procedures and support a positive workplace environment.
n

Qualifications n

You must have the following qualifications/licenses before you start:

- Employee Working with Children Check
n
- First Aid and CPR
n
- Current Pool Lifeguard certificate
n

n

Applicants must be at least 16 years old and legally able to work in Australia.
