Job Summary n

We are looking out for a Proposal Engineer to prepare techno-commercial proposals for solar EPC for rooftop projects. Also, to engage in activity related to trading job related to CESC.

Key Responsibilities 1. BOQ & Costing Support n

n
- Prepare basic Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for solar project components including modules, inverters, MMS, cables, earthing systems, etc.
n
- Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for trading-related requirements.
n
- Collect, analyse, and compare vendor quotations; regularly update the price database.
n
- Support preparation of detailed project cost estimations and budgetary calculations.
n
- Assist in the preparation of techno-commercial proposals for solar projects.
n
- Prepare compliance matrices, technical datasheets, and supporting documents as per tender requirements.
n
- Compile, review, and organize complete tender documents for timely submissions.

3. Coordination & Documentation nn
- Coordinate closely with sales and procurement teams to gather inputs and ensure alignment.
n
- Maintain structured proposal folders, records, and documentation for future reference and audits.
n
- Basic understanding of solar PV systems, components, and overall plant configuration.
n
- Knowledge of industrial rooftop solar projects and related execution considerations.
n
- Familiarity with EPC contract fundamentals, including scope, deliverables, and commercial terms.
n
- Strong documentation skills with the ability to prepare and organize technical and commercial records.
n
- Valuable written and verbal communication skills for coordination with internal teams, OEMs, and vendors.
