The Role n

You'll take ownership of a portfolio of clients and be responsible for:

n

- Preparing and reviewing financial statements and income tax returns
n
- Managing client relationships and responding to client queries
n
- Delivering tax advice and practical solutions
n
- Assisting with tax planning and business advisory projects
n
- Identifying opportunities to improve client outcomes
n
- Reviewing and supporting the work of junior team members
n
- Managing workflow, deadlines and WIP effectively
n
- Contributing to process improvements as the firm grows
n

About You n

Ideally, you'll have:

n

n
- 5+ years experience in public practice accounting
n
- Strong technical tax knowledge across companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals
n
- Experience with GST, Capital Gains Tax, Division 7A and FBT
n
- Strong client communication and relationship skills
n
- The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
n
- A proactive mindset and desire to continually improve
n
- CA or CPA qualification (or underway) is ideal but not essential
n
