Electrical Technician / Fitter (Busbar, Wiring & Assembly) n

An established Australian manufacturer of bespoke low-voltage switchboards, including main switchboards, distribution boards, MCCs and control panels, for commercial, power distribution and motor control applications. Built to AS/NZS 61439, for data centres, hospitals and manufacturing plants.

What You'll Be Doing:

n

n
- Work on the Production floor.
n
- Busbar: Fit and assemble copper busbar, with joints aligned, the right hardware and torqued correctly.
n
- Wiring: Route, terminate and connect cabling to drawings.
n
- Assembly: Install breakers, terminals, relays and control devices.
n
- Checking: Check wiring and terminations against drawings before it goes to test.
n
- Team: Work with production,



test and quality to get jobs out the door.
n

What You Need:

n

n
- Experience fitting busbar and wiring LV electrical assemblies in a manufacturing workplace.
n
- Able to read electrical drawings and schematics.
n
- Neat, accurate work that passes inspection first time.
n
- Cert III qualified.
n

n

- $40 to $50 per hour, depending on experience.

- $150k a year with overtime for experienced fitters.
n
- Workshop based, no site travel, home every night.
n
- Steady work with an established manufacturer.

- PR or Citizen for perm roles, those that have the relevant experience however can work through our agency as casuals.
