nA well-established and financially strong Melbourne builder is continuing to grow its project team and is looking to appoint Project Managers at both Intermediate and Senior level .n

nThere are currently two Project Manager opportunities available .n
nSenior Project Manager Major High-End Apartments Location: Eastern Melbourne n
nThis is a significant appointment working on a major high-end multi-residential development -8 levels, basement, towercranes.n
nThis is an opportunity for an experienced PM to join the project from the very beginning and take ownership through the full construction lifecycle.n
nThe Role n
nYou will have overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the project, working closely with the client, consultants, subcontractors and internal project team.n
nResponsibilities will include:n

- Overall project delivery and leadership

- Programming and project planning
n
- Design and construction coordination
n
- Procurement and subcontractor management
n
- Cost and commercial management
n
- Quality and compliance
n
- Stakeholder and client management
n
- Managing project resources and site teams

- Identifying and resolving construction issues

- Maintaining programme and project milestones

- Managing project risks and opportunities
n
- Ensuring the project is delivered safely, commercially and to a high standard

The successful candidate will need to be hands-on and construction focused .n
nThis is not a position for someone who simply delegates everything down to the project team. The builder is looking for someone who understands how buildings are actually constructed , is comfortable getting into the detail when required and can provide strong leadership across a complex project.n




nWhat We're Looking For n

- 10+ years' construction experience
n
- Strong apartment / multi-residential background
n
- Proven experience delivering major building projects
n
- High-end residential experience highly regarded
n
- Strong understanding of construction methodology
n
- Strong commercial and contractual understanding
n
- Excellent programming and project management skills
n
- Strong client-facing capability
n
- Excellent stakeholder management
n
- Ability to lead and mentor project teams

- Hands-on approach to project delivery

nProject Manager Social Housing Location: East Melbourne n
nThe second opportunity is suited to an Intermediate Project Manager or Project Manager with previous apartment or multi-residential experience.n
nThe project is a major social housing development comprising: 10 stories, basements.n
nThe Role n
nYou will take responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of the project, working closely with the senior construction team and broader project stakeholders.n
nResponsibilities will include:n

What We're Looking For This role does not require 10+ years' experience .n
nThe builder is open to an experienced Intermediate PM stepping into a larger project , provided you have strong apartment or multi-residential experience.n
nIdeally, you will have:n

- Previous experience managing apartment / multi-residential projects

- Strong building knowledge
n
- Good understanding of construction methodology

- Experience coordinating subcontractors and consultants

- Strong project planning and programming skills
