Job Description
About the Role: n
We are seeking an experienced and proactive WHS & Injury Management Advisor to support our venues and operational teams across our hospitality business on a part-time basis. This is an exciting prospect for someone passionate about workplace safety, injury management, compliance and creating positive outcomes for team members.
n
Working closely with venue leaders, operations and the Talent & Culture team, you will play a key role in driving a strong safety culture, promoting wellbeing initiatives, supporting injured workers through effective return to work plans, and ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety legislation.
n
Reporting to the Talent & Culture leadership team, you will provide practical WHS and injury management support across multiple hospitality venues including pubs, bars, restaurants, gaming and accommodation operations.
n
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, working collaboratively with leaders and taking a hands-on approach to safety and wellbeing in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities: n
n
- Coordinate workplace injury management and return to work processes
n
- Develop and manage suitable duties programs and RTW plans
n
- Liaise with injured workers, managers, insurers, medical providers and rehabilitation specialists
n
- Monitor claims, maintain accurate records and support positive claim outcomes
n
- Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions
n
- Conduct workplace risk assessments and safety inspections
n
- Support WHS compliance across venues and operations
n
- Assist with policy development, safety systems and reporting
n
- Deliver WHS guidance, coaching and training to leaders and teams
n
- Promote a proactive and positive safety culture across the business with a focus
n
About You: n
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
n

- Previous experience in WHS, injury management or return to work coordination
n
- Strong understanding of workplace health & safety legislation and workers compensation processes
n
- Experience within hospitality, multi-site or fast-paced operational environments highly regarded
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
n
- Ability to build trust and influence leaders at all levels
n
- A practical, solutions-focused and empathetic approach
n
- RTW Coordinator certification (or willingness to obtain)
n
