YOUR ROLE n

We're looking for a reliable, hands‑on Production & Warehouse Operator to join our Yatala team.

n

This isn't just another pick‑and‑pack warehouse position. You'll be trained to manufacture, repair and test specialised lifting and safety equipment while also supporting the day‑to‑day warehouse operation.

n

You’ll work with equipment including wire rope, synthetic rope, chain slings and height safety products, using industrial presses, testing machines and other specialised equipment.

n

Previous lifting or rigging experience is not required. We'll provide the training.

n

Your day will include:

n

n
- Manufacturing and assembling lifting and safety equipment
n
- Operating presses, testing machines and other production equipment
n
- Testing and inspecting finished products
n
- Repairing and preparing equipment for customers
n
- Picking, packing, receiving and dispatching stock
n
- Forklift operation where licensed
n
- Completing accurate production and testing records
n
- Keeping your work area safe, organised and ready to go
n

ABOUT YOU n





We're less concerned about whether you've worked specifically with wire rope or lifting equipment before.

n

We're looking for someone who is reliable, practical, safety focused and willing to learn .

n

You'll suit this role if you have experience in areas such as:

n

n
- Warehousing or distribution
n
- Manufacturing or production
n
- Machine operation
n
- Assembly or fabrication
n
- Mechanical or hands‑on work
n
- Construction, rigging or industrial environments
n

n

You’ll also need good basic literacy and numeracy skills, attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

n

Experience with any of the following would be useful, but is not essential :

n

n
- Forklift operation or an LF licence
n
- Welding, oxy or brazing
n
- Press machinery
n
- Lifting or rigging equipment
n

n

If you don't currently hold a forklift licence, we're still interested in hearing from you if you're willing to obtain one.
