About the business and the role

Automove P/Lspecialises in Emergency Roadside Assistance providing professional roadside breakdown repairs and towing services. Automove P/L holds several RACV Emergency Roadside Assistance Service Contracts across Victoria. An exciting opportunity is available to join our South Gippsland Team as we currently have multiple patrolman vacancies to service the Foster Regional Area.

The successful applicant will be a motivated individual who will enjoy the benefits of working outside of a workshop and on the road in a sea side location. The successful applicant will work independently or within a team with ongoing support and training from our successful management team. They would have a can - do attitude, be well presented, hold good communication skills and enjoy helping people.

Successful applicant must have

- Full driver’s license
- Be able to pass a police check
- Be able to provide a fit for duties medical certificate
- Hold Motor trade qualifications or be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of experience within the automotive industry.
- Good automotive diagnostic skills to help members get back on the road
- Be available to work weekdays and or nights / available to work weekends and or nights (options available)

You will

- Carry out roadside repairs and diagnosis using your automotive knowledge and skills.
- Provide appropriate member solutions while maintaining exceptional customer relations
- Be prepared, focused and courteous with every customer interaction and conduct yourself in a skilled and efficient manner
- Promote all Services and Product offerings when appropriate
- Receive the satisfaction of providing essential emergency roadside service to members and the community within a time of need
