Job Description
Defence Maintenance Manager (submit by 16 October 2026) n
Our client is seeking experienced and motivated Maintenance Manager with active NV1 to join their Canberra Office. The Maintenance Manager will actively plan, coordinate andmanage the maintenance activities for COSPO material systems. The MM is responsible for leading, planning, executing,managing and monitoring ongoing maintenance tasks for Cyber Training Systems (CTS), Cyber Mission Systems (CMS),and Cyber Development Support Systems (CDSS) from development through to production according to predeterminedtimelines and budgets.

Actively work with stakeholders to deliver on the technical challenges that arise in thedelivery of day-to-day operations – across multiple systems and streams
n
Manage and task the regional Field Service Representatives (FSRs)
n
Work closely with the Maintenance Controller to orchestrate maintenance activities
n
Development and ongoing improvements of the Maintenance Management System (MMS)and associated policy and procedures
n
Provide support assurance Level 1 and Level 2 support for all COSPO products Coordinate Field Service
n
Representative support for product delivery as agreed with ProductManagers
n
Establish and maintain Technical Maintenance Plans (TMP)
for all project material systemsincluding routine, system updates and defect/fault activities
n
Manage maintenance logs and report on faults and defects reported by stakeholders
n
Engage with the Engineering Services Team to ensure that systems remain aligned to theagreed technical baseline, and any compliance issues are flagged for action
n
Regularly meet with key stakeholders to ensure needs and service requirements are beingmet
n
Monitor, manage and resolve COSPO Support Portal tickets
n
Experience in maintenance manager role for ICT and/or ADF systems
n
Systems Engineering and/or Systems Maintenance experience
n
Strong Defence background
n
High level management and communication skills
n
Qualification (e.g. Degree, Diploma, Cert IV) in ICT Systems Engineering or related field
n
Certified Protected® Practitioner (mandatory for all COSPO personnel - can be completed upon
n engagement)
n
Qualification in Maintenance Management (e.g. Cert IV, GradCert),
n
Qualification in any Technical Regulatory Frameworks
n
Demonstrated ICT experience
n
Experience in maintenance manager role within ADF
n
Demonstrated experience in and understanding of information technology and/or cybersecurity
