The Role n

Join Nine Mile’s APAC ETF Market Making team as a Trader, based in Sydney, trading single stock futures and ETFs across APAC markets. You’ll develop and execute market-making and arbitrage strategies across futures, ETFs and related products as part of our market-making team.

Key responsibilities include: n

- Developing and executing trading strategies across single stock futures, ETFs and related instruments in APAC markets
n
- Using futures for hedging and relative value trading
n
- Identifying and capturing arbitrage opportunities across related products
n




- Contributing to the development of trading strategies and the growth of our traded universe
n
- Researching new systematic trading opportunities
n
- Designing and improving algorithmic trading strategies and execution tools
n
- Collaborating closely with the broader market-making team
n
- Engaging with exchanges, brokers and other market participants across the region
n

What You Will Bring nn
- 1+ years of relevant trading experience at a High‑Frequency Trading or Market Making firm, ideally with exposure to futures, ETFs or APAC markets
n
- Familiarity with derivatives market structure in one or more APAC markets
n
- A solid understanding of ETF mechanics and arbitrage strategies
n
- Proficiency in Python
n
- Highly advanced capability in probability and statistics
n
- Excellent numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills
n
- A genuine passion for financial markets, particularly systematic and quantitative trading
n
- Strong academic record in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Econometrics, Computer Science or a related discipline
