WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: n

We are currently seeking, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Aircrew Officers to join our Bell 412 operations in New South Wales, Australia.

n

The right candidate will have the ability to work in a team environment conducting aerial firefighting and flood response, crew/equipment transport, reconnaissance, search and rescue, disaster mitigation and related operations in support of emergency services. They must have a robust focus on safety and customer service.

n

The role requires flexibility and working away from home base at short notice and offers competitive salary and an emphasis on work/ life balance.

Duties and Responsibilities: n

n




- Work as part of a team in a helicopter flight crew to ensure all operations are conducted in a safe and compliant manner as required by the company operations manual.
n
- To ensure role equipment is maintained and in good condition for each mission and facilitate appropriate repair or maintenance of this equipment when required.
n
- Ensure aircraft are in a state of readiness regarding cleanliness, role equipment and appropriately configured, weighed, and secure for each mission.
n
- Complete pre-flight and post-flight documentation and inspections.
n
- Conduct briefing and passenger administration as required for the mission.
n
- Assist in the logistics of flight crew when deployed.
n
- Provide accurate visual observation and information to the Pilot of flight relevant data including clearances, personnel movements and flight safety related issues.
n
- Operate rescue hoist and associated role equipment IAW Coulson Aviation Australia Operations Manual.
n
- Perform duties in the Front Left Seat (FLS) and using Night Vision Imaging Systems (NVIS) as qualified.
n
- Conduct other duties as allocated by the Senior Aircrew Officer or Chief Pilot.

Experience Requirements: nn
- The right to live and work in Australia
n
- Vehicle Drivers Licence
n
- Ability to obtain an Australian Class 2 Medical
n
- Excellent crew resource management and communication skills.
n

Desirable Qualifications/Experience n

n
- SAR / Rescue/ Fire Personnel Winching operational qualifications and experience
n
- External Load (Sling load) Rigging techniques operational Experience
n
- Knowledge and experience in aerial firefighting operations
n
- HUET Certificate of Competency
n
- Dangerous Goods Awareness Certificate of Competency
n
- Certificate IV Aviation (Aircrewman) AVI40116 or AVI40119
n
