Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a well-established accountancy firm who are looking to recruit anAudit Senior to join their team.

n

This is an excellent chance for an experienced part-qualified or newly qualified practice professional looking to develop their audit experience across a diverse portfolio of SME clients, with exposure to group audits, accounts preparation and tax.

The Role n

Working with a diverse range of clients across a variety of industries, you will take responsibility for delivering high-quality audit and assurance assignments while supporting the wider accounts and tax team.

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Leading audit assignments for a varied portfolio of SME clients
n
- Planning and completing audits through to finalisation
n




- Reviewing financial statements and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and regulatory requirements
n
- Leading audits for groups of companies, including gaining experience with consolidated financial statements
n
- Preparing statutory financial statements, including consolidated accounts
n
- Preparing tax computations and supporting tax compliance work
n
- Assisting with advisory services and specialist assignments as required
n
- Building strong client relationships and providing a professional, high-quality service
n

About You nn
- ACA / ACCA qualified or an experienced part-qualified Audit Semi Senior
n
- Previous audit experience within an accountancy practice
n
- Experience of working with SME clients across a range of industries
n
- Robust knowledge of audit and financial reporting requirements
n
- Experience of accounts preparation and tax compliance
n
- Strong communication and client relationship-building skills
n
- Organised with the ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines
n
- Accurate, proactive and commercially aware
n
- Confident working independently and as part of a team
n
