We're looking for a dedicated Cleaning, Laundry & Catering Assistant to join the team at Cabanda Aged Care in Rosewood.

n

Help create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment-making making a real difference in the lives of our residents by ensuring they feel at home and cared for.

Location: Cabanda Aged Care, Rosewood, QLD

n

Role Type: Casual (with potential to Permanent Part-time for the successful applicant)

n

Remuneration: $35.40 per hour (includes 25% casual loading) + Super + Salary Packaging + Staff Discounts

About the Role n

Due to the nature of the role, flexibility is essential. You must be available to work across a 7-day roster and be willing to pick up shifts at short notice, including covering unplanned leave and absences.

This is an all-round Hotel Services role, including a mix of:

- Cleaning resident rooms and communal areas
n
- Catering support (food preparation, meal service and dishwashing)
n
- Laundry duties (washing, folding and distributing linen and clothing)
n

About You nn
- Experience as a Cleaner, Laundry, Catering Assistant or similar (aged care experience highly regarded)
n
- Compassionate and committed to delivering respectful, person-centred care
n
- Versatile, reliable, and willing to support the team when needed
n




- Enjoy working as part of a team to create a positive environment for residents

- Support meal services tailored to residents' needs and preferences
n
- Build meaningful connections with residents - your interactions can make their day
n
- Assist with kitchen and meal service duties
n
- Maintain clean, tidy, and welcoming living spaces
n
- Assist with laundry services including washing, folding and distribution
n
- Contribute to a safe, hygienic environment for residents and staff
