As a Disability Support Worker at Nextt, you'll provide respectful and person-centred support to help people maintain their independence and feel confident in their daily routines.

We are currently seeking a compassionate, patient and reliable Disability Support Worker to provide morning support to a participant in Morisset Park.

n

This role is focused on supporting the participant with their morning routine, including personal care and transfers, while maintaining their dignity, privacy and independence.

n

Position Details:

n

- Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday
n
- Time: 6:00 am - 8:00 am
n
- Location: Morisset Park
n
- Support Type: Self-care and morning routine assistance
n

n

Support Includes:

n

n
- Standby assistance with showering
n
- Assistance with bowel care
n
- Minimal assistance with transfers
n
- Assisting with moving the participant's legs during transfers
n
- Supporting the participant to maintain their independence and dignity
n
- Following established support plans and routines
n
- Providing clear and accurate shift notes and handovers
n

n

We're Looking For:

n

n
- A compassionate, patient and reliable Support Worker
n
- Experience providing personal care and self-care support
n
- Confident assisting with transfers and mobility
n




- Comfortable providing bowel care or willing to learn
n
- Respectful of the participant's privacy, dignity and independence
n
- Able to follow support plans and established routines
n
- Reliable and punctual for early morning shifts
n
- Solid communication skills and a person-centred approach
n

n

Certificates & Licences Required:

n

n
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
n
- Working with Children Check
n
- First Aid and CPR Certificate
n
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or equivalent
n
- Australian Driver's Licence and fully insured vehicle
n

n

Pay Rates

n

E3.1 (Casual in home and SIL)

n

SCHADS Award E3.1 Casual Rates (before tax):

n

- Base hourly rate: $36.81
n
- Afternoon shift (shift ends between 8pm and midnight, Monday to Friday): $40.49
n
- Active Night shift (Finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Monday to Friday): $41.23
n
- Saturday: $51.54
n
- Sunday: $66.26
n
- Public holiday: $80.99
n
